GPP Street Team Crusade #44

Hosted by Michelle Ward
This Crusade is called ‘In a Scrape’ and involves painting with old credit cards.
You squish a few colors onto your page, then spread with the CC. This is just plain ole fun! I started with opaque acrylics, then whittled down to translucent paints, some watercolors, sometimes gesso. Then when it was dry, I painted over stencils with the CC. I love using stencils and masks.
This is my first entry, but I will definitely visit the previous challenges and try them.

Hi Daphne, nice to meet you via the Crusades. I really like the mask (or stencil?) you have used at the top left. Great pages.

Great texture with the stencils. I like the effect of the delicate scroll on the grungy background.

Howdy,

I love your sample of 'In The Scrape!' It's so fun and interesting using old cards to create backgounds, isn't it? Like that you used some transparent glazes and the stenciling is a nice touch, too. You've inspired me!

Can you please send me the link for GPP Street Team Crusade #44?

Peace,
LuLu
Would love for you to visit my blog, and comment on some of my art when you have a moment or 2!

I love how "white" your pages appear... I'm wondering if it was the gesso in the mix? They look super cool. Welcome to the Crusades and happy creations from germany, tj

The stencils turned out great. For me it was challenging, the paint kept running uner the stencil. Welcome to the crusades!
