This Crusade is called ‘In a Scrape’ and involves painting with old credit cards.
You squish a few colors onto your page, then spread with the CC. This is just plain ole fun! I started with opaque acrylics, then whittled down to translucent paints, some watercolors, sometimes gesso. Then when it was dry, I painted over stencils with the CC. I love using stencils and masks.
This is my first entry, but I will definitely visit the previous challenges and try them.

Daphne - welcome to the team! Thanks for coming to play - and for sharing your work and your enthusism. Great textures! Love to hear that you enjoyed it! Hope you'll try more!
A beautiful background, there's so much to see, the textures, the colors. Well done !
I really like your colour mix and the stencils work really well :)
Hi Daphne, nice to meet you via the Crusades. I really like the mask (or stencil?) you have used at the top left. Great pages.
i love all the texture and details in your pages. And it's neat that you added watercolors to the mix - great idea!
Great texture with the stencils. I like the effect of the delicate scroll on the grungy background.
Welcome to the GPP team. Oh Michelle has the most inspiring prompts.
Howdy,
I love your sample of 'In The Scrape!' It's so fun and interesting using old cards to create backgounds, isn't it? Like that you used some transparent glazes and the stenciling is a nice touch, too. You've inspired me!
Can you please send me the link for GPP Street Team Crusade #44?
Peace,
LuLu

Daphne, the master of backgrounds, lovely!
Val :)
I love how "white" your pages appear... I'm wondering if it was the gesso in the mix? They look super cool. Welcome to the Crusades and happy creations from germany, tj
Great colors and I love the stencils, gives a great contrast to your background.
The stencils turned out great. For me it was challenging, the paint kept running uner the stencil. Welcome to the crusades!
You have created two wonderful pages, Daphne. Love the different colours and textures!
Hi, you have used my favorite colours on both pages. Great texture. Thanks for commenting on my pages.
Fun to have you join us and try so many different colours - yay you! Join again soon!
