These pages are the result of watching JournalArtista's video this past Wednesday evening...what a blast that was! I watched a couple more shows, then created this in my Altered Art Journal. There are so many layers here, you need to feel the textures...

Spool Baby
This little doll was on a Christmas list compiled by Sharon of My Story Art. This is my version of the Spool Baby.
I did not have such tiny spools, so I used 4 wine bottle corks. The hair is yarn, and the face painted on an old oval bead. Ain't she sweet?
Thanks Sharon for such a wonderful list for Christmas gift ideas.

Boxy pouches
I found instructions for these on the internet and made a few up for Christmas gifts. They were super easy!
I made them out of a faux leather...the one on the left is a sable colour, the other is blue, with a creased design. I hung danglies from the zipper pull.

Christmas Cones
These cones were featured in a Quilting Arts Magazine, and I have been meaning to make one for some time now. I liked it so much I made another for my sister for Christmas.
