FOIL AND CRACKLE PAINT TECHNIQUE

This is a technique I decided to try using aluminum foil and crackle paint. This tech was given to us by Toni Curtis on the Yahoo Altered Books group. This is what I came up with. Now what to do with it? I don't know why foil was used instead of just plain crumpled paper, I don't see a difference. Perhaps when I use it a bright light will shine....

Distress Inks/Twinkling H2O's spray

This is my experiment with Distress Inks and a spray of Twinkling H2O's. What fun!

The lovely gold spray of the H2O's, however, does not show up in the scan...sigh...

Asian Lady Puzzle Piece

I made this 7x9 wallhanging using 4 pieces from a kid's puzzle. I plan to alter the other pieces and put the puzzle back together.

Book purse

My book purse. Originally a book called Myst that I gutted, then lined with cotton fabric from Bali. I am very happy with the result.
